Frequently Asked Questions

Thank you for your interest in our retreat – hopefully we have covered most queries that you may have – but, if not, please don’t hesitate to get in touch (no question is too silly!).

What do I need to do when I've completed a booking request for my retreat space?

You will receive an email confirmation of your booking (please keep an eye out for this) and a request for any payment that is due.

Once we have received your deposit, we will email you a Wellness Questionnaire – please ensure you complete this in full and return it to us.

Please ensure you have read our Terms & Conditions.

We recommend that you take out suitable insurance in the unlikely event that you cannot attend

When does the retreat start and finish?

You can arrive at the retreat anytime from 4pm on Friday – Gavin or Pippa will be there to meet you and show you to your room – this will hopefully give you time to settle in and unwind before our Welcome Circle at 6pm.
We anticipate the retreat coming to a close around 2pm on Sunday, so you can ease back into your week ahead, feeling nourished and nurtured and ready to thrive.

What happens if I can't arrive until later on Friday evening?

Not a problem at all – life happens! If you arrive a little later than 6pm we will welcome you in gently and help you settle in when you arrive. The retreat is designed to ease you into the weekend so, even if you miss the very beginning, there is plenty of time to unwind and soak it all in. Please just keep us updated so we know when to expect you..

Can I leave the retreat early on Sunday?

Of course – while we’d love everyone to stay until the retreat closes around 2pm, we understand that you may need to leave a little earlier. Just let us know in advance please so we can support a smooth and peaceful departure for you. That said, the final part of the retreat includes a truly special closing soundbath – a beautiful way to end the weekend – so we highly recommend staying if you can!

What is the schedule for the weekend?

We’ve designed the retreat with a gentle rhythm in mind – offering just enough structure to help you feel grounded without the pressure of a packed itinerary. While we don’t share a detailed schedule in advance (to help you stay present and relaxed) there will be a natural flow to each day. You’ll always know where you need to be without needing to keep track of the clock. For those of you who really need it – here is a sample schedule for Saturday:

Do you cater for food allergies / intolerances?

Yes, absolutely. When you complete your Wellness Questionnaire you will have the chance to share any dietary needs – please give as much detail as possible. We do our best to accommodate food allergies, intolerances & dietary preferences with care and attention as long as they are made clear on your Wellness Questionnaire.

Are all sessions compulsory?

Not at all! This is your retreat and you are welcome to take part in as much or as little as feels right for you at the time. All sessions are offered as invitations, not obligations. So whether you’re feeling social and energised, or you’d prefer some quiet time to yourself, you’ll always have the space to choose what you need in the moment.

Do I need to be experienced at yoga?

Not at all! The retreat is open to all levels, including complete beginners. Our movement sessions are gentle, accessible, and always optional – designed to support your body, not challenge or push. Whether it’s your fist time on a yoga mat or you’ve been practising for years, you’ll be guided with care and encouraged to move in a way that feels right for you.

I am coming on my own, will others be on their own too?

Other guests may come on their own – the retreat is a welcoming, inclusive space where connections tend to form naturally, whether it’s through shared meals, gentle conversations or quiet moments side by side. You’ll be in good company whether you’re seeking connection, solitude or a bit of both.
